Step 1: Check Your Contact DetailsAs soon as you log in to your account it's a good idea to check your account details, by hovering over the "Your Account" tab then click on "Account Details" It's important that you have the correct account details as the address you provide here is the address your commission checks from Your Affiliate Site will be sent to. You can expect a check on the 1st and 15th of every month, depending on the commission you have earned. To help you complete this section there is a Video tutorial in the right corner of the screen. Once you are happy you have your details correct hit save changes. Step 2: Run The Website Set Up WizardThe website setup wizard will setup your earning potential for your website by asking you to sign up to the appropriate FREE accounts (Google Adsense + Clickbank) and allowing you to enter your user IDs for each in the wizard. Once this is complete it will automatically configure your website so you will start to get credit for the money you make from Google Adsense and from Clickbank. To run the website setup wizard go to "Your Account" tab and click on "Run The Setup Wizard" this will walk you through the essential website earnings setup process. Make sure you follow all the instructions carefully and enter the correct details as this is very important. If at any point you would like to run the setup wizard again to easily update any information this is fine just follow the process again. To Run Your Website Setup Wizard Click Here Now! Step 3: Set Up Your Website DesignThe design of your website is very important that's why we are continually adding new templates and colors to allow you to customize your website. There are 5 steps to complete setting up how your website looks. These are listed below.
3.1 - Choose Template Design And ColorTo start with you should choose the website template you want to use, you can do this my navigating to the "Manage Your Site" tab then click on the "Templates" button. You should be greeted by a selection of templates. To choose the one you want to use just click on it. You should now see your template in a variety of colors, again just click on the color you want to use. You will now get a message telling you that your template upload will be completed in the next 2-3minutes. You can repeat this process whenever you feel like changing your template design or color. 3.2 - Edit The Website ContentYour website content is the text that is found at the top of your website explaining what your website is about. Start by entering the website title this will appear in the website header then write your introduction text, and then write why you have chosen the number one product in your review site. If you make any changes that you want to keep to update your website remember to click save changes at the bottom of the page. Your website will update with these changes immediately, if you have not seen the changes, you need to refresh the page you are looking at online by clicking the refresh button. If you haven't yet chosen your products yet this is ok you can just complete this section later, as you can see for the moment we just leave the default text there to give you an idea what to type. To edit your websites content you navigating to the "Manage Your Site" tab then click on the "Contents" button. Now just edit the text to how you want it. You can also use are standard text editing tools to make font bold, italic, highlighted or even insert bullet points. The bottom half of this page describes search engine optimization, unless you understand SEO I would probably leave this to the default. But feel free to edit this also. This text does not appear on your website it is purely a tool to help your website appear more highly ranked in search engines. If You Make Any Changes to This Page That You Want To Keep Remember To Hit Save Your Changes! 3.3 - Edit The Products You Wish To Promote
Set up as a default are the top 3 performing products at that moment in time, so I highly suggest you just leave these as they are but maybe just change their reviews, if you want to do this go to the next step which will show you how to edit the reviews for the default top 3 products. If you do however want to change any of the products you are currently reviewing you need to start by navigating to the "Manage Your Site" tab then click on the "Add A Review" button. You now have to choose from the drop down menu the affiliate system. If the product you want to review is in the Clickbank network you make sure you have Clickbank selected then click continue. If the product you want to review is not a Clickbank product but you have a affiliate link for it select Custom Affiliate System. Remember though that Clickbank products are configured automatically so its beneficial using their products. You now have to choose a product title, the price it retails for and write your review text once you are happy with your review click continue. Now you are asked to add an image you want to show next to the review to best show the product you are reviewing. This image needs to be 120 x 100 pixels. To add the image, click browse, then try to locate whereabouts on your computer you have saved this image, once you have located it click on the image press open, then click continue in the control panel. Next step is to add the link to the product you are reviewing, which includes your unique affiliate referral code. If the product is a Clickbank product then find the product in the Clickbank marketplace. Click Here to go to the Clickbank marketplace. Now by selecting the products category then a keyword to describe the product then click go. When you have found the product like in the example below click create hop link A new window will open like the one shown below, you need to now enter your Clickbank user id, then once you hit submit, a new window will open with your unique referral link. This is the link that youir need to add in the control panel where it says Product URL, remember to follow the same format as stated ie http://theproductcode.4idiots.hop.clickbank.net/ will be theproductcode.4idiots.hop.clickbank.net If you are reviewing a product that is not in clickbank then just add your unique refferal code here in the control panel for that product. Once you have added your corrert affiliate link remember to click finsih you will get a message "The affiliate link has been updated successfully" 3.4 - Edit The Product ReviewsIf you want to edit an existing review you need to start by navigating to the "Manage Your Site" tab then click on the "Edit Reviews" button. Here you can either remove a review, or you can edit a review. To edit a review click Edit review which is found next to the product price. You will be taken to a page where you can edit the Product title, Price and Review text. Also you can make some text bold or in italics etc. If you want to change the image click browse and try to locate where the image is saved on your computer, once you have located it click on the image press open, then click continue in the control panel. If you wan to change the affiliate link change the link in the Product URL box. For information on how to create your affiliate link please check the previous step on how to create a review. Once you are happy with your review, which you can see in full below the affiliate link box click Finish! 3.5 - Edit The Position of The Top Three ProductsIf you want to re-order your top three products you can do so by navigating to the "Manage Your Site" tab then click on the "Review Positions" button. To move one of the reviews hover over the review you want to move and hold down the left mouse button and drag the review to the position you want it to now be then let go of the mouse button. This will drop the site review to its new position. The changes will be made to your site automatically Step 4: Start Getting Visitors To Your WebsiteOK, so you have your website design set up, you have run the website setup wizard to configure your earning potential to your website and you have set up your 3 product reviews, now what you need is traffic to your website. You could have the best website in the world but without customers visiting your website you won't earn any commission. You have a few options here to start getting traffic to your website. One option is to sign up to Google Adsense, and pay per click to appear high up in search engines. This can be expensive though and hard to implement for beginners.
